You can feel wonderful during your pregnancy if you take good care of yourself.Increase your odds of a healthy pregnancy by following these sensible steps to keep yourself in top condition.

Don’t forget breakfast
Try fortified ready-to-eat or cooked breakfast cereals with fruit.Fortified cereals have added nutrients, like iron or calcium.
If you are feeling sick,start with 100% whole-grain toast.

Take a prenatal vitamin each day as directed by your obstetrician
Iron keeps your blood healthy.Folic acid helps prevent some birth defects.Talk with your doctor or nurse about a prenatal vitamin that’s right for you.

Get enough fluid 
Getting enough nourishing fluids, like water, is important during pregnancy to prevent constipation and provide for the expanding blood volume that carries oxygen and nutrients to both the mother and baby.So,carry a water bottle,take 8 swigs of water every time you see a water fountain.Also,drink nutritious beverages, such as reduced-sodium V8, orange juice, or nonfat milk to get your fluids.

Avoid drinking alcohol because there may be an increased risk of miscarriage.Women planning to become pregnant should also stop drinking.

Eat 8 to 12 ounces of seafood each week
Fish and shellfish have nutrients that are good for your unborn baby.Eat a variety of seafood 2 or 3 times a week.Choices include Salmon,Sardines,Shrimp,Canned light tuna.A 3-ounce serving is about the size of a deck of cards.

Avoid fish that are high in mercury, especially swordfish, tilefish, shark, and king mackerel.Mercury is a metal that can hurt your baby’s development.

Stay away from soft cheeses and lunch meats
The below  foods may have bacteria in them that can hurt your baby. Don’t eat
--- Raw (uncooked) fish, like sushi
--- Soft cheeses like feta, Brie, and goat cheese
--- Raw or rare (under cooked) meats
--- Lunch meats and hot dogs, unless they are heated until steaming hot

Exercise
It's really important for your general health and also can help reduce stress.Take a pregnancy exercise class or walk at least fifteen to twenty minutes every day at a moderate pace.Walk in cool, shaded areas or indoors in order to prevent overheating.

Get adequate sleep
8-9 hours is preferable however at least eight hours a night is must.If you're suffering from sleep disturbances, take naps during the day and see your physician for advice.
